About Haven Conveyancing Cobram
‘Haven Conveyancing’ is a subsidiary of our law firm ‘Haven Legal Co’ which is based in Coburg, Melbourne. Haven Legal Co. started 6 weeks before the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020 began (great timing…).
Haven Conveyancing now operates in both Warrnambool and (as of May 2022) Cobram. Our business model promotes remote working and adopts the latest legal artificial intelligence software so our team is not restricted by the physical location in which they work.
Our model is designed around the idea of being able to deliver legal services remotely through zoom conferencing and online intake systems.
We are able to assist our clients by providing the legal services and solutions you want, either ‘on-line’ or ‘in person’, in the most streamlined and time efficient way possible.

Adelle is a mother, a wife, a birth trauma/sepsis survivor and an advocate of all things ostomy related. She is not at all a typical ‘lawyer’. And she proud of it! She relishes in ‘doing law differently’.
Adelle has a long-founded interest in operating her own enterprises. She owned her own law firm, Jones Lawyers & Associates, from 2013–2017 in Cobram, Victoria. After selling this practice and moving to Melbourne she worked exclusively as a Wills and Estates Lawyer in Northcote where she crossed paths with Fiona Buchanan. Their commonalities in the way they practice law, engage with their clients and their approach to improving efficiency and productivity within the workplace led to the establishment of Haven Legal Co.
Haven Legal Co. is our Head Office which is based in Coburg, Melbourne. We now operate bracnch offices in Cobram and Warrnambool and very soon in Ballarat.

Fiona is a wife, mother to two beautiful girls and has a fur baby named Chilli.
Fiona previously worked in the Financial Markets and Funds Management trading Equities, Bonds and Currency for a boutique Asset Management Firm. She left the world of Funds Management and assisted in establishing Buchanan Legal in 2007 with her husband in QLD. She went on to gain her legal qualifications studying the Juris Doctor at Bond University. They followed their girls to Melbourne in 2016 and are loving Victoria and city living (although the winters are a bit chilly). Meeting Adelle was like finding a kindred spirit and they are both passionate about helping clients on their life journey. Whether it’s family law, estate planning, buying or selling property or dealing with a deceased estate, Fiona is passionate in advocating for her client and their needs.

We welcomed Conveyancing Clerk Ebony Adams to our law firm – Haven Legal Co. – in May 2022. Ebony works remotely for our law firm and is now also the face of our Cobram office – Haven Conveyancing. If the pandemic has taught us anything it is that working remotely is no longer a barrier for the Legal industry.
Ebony lives on the NSW/VIC border in Barooga. Ebony’s client base now spans from the Cobram/Barooga region down to Melbourne CBD and suburbs and along the Peninsula and Geelong coast.
Ebony has 8 years of experience in the legal industry and 6 years as a conveyancing clerk. She has a passion for assisting new and familiar faces with their conveyancing needs. She enjoys making the process easy and stress free for our clients.
Ebony loves being around her friends and family, reading and spending her summers wakeboarding on the Murray River.

Brittany was born and raised in Kyabram where she started her legal journey undertaking full-time work and full-time study completing her Bachelor of Laws with Deakin University.
She has now over 10 years in the industry working her way from Assistant, Law Clerk to Solicitor. She was admitted to practice 4 years ago and works predominantly in Wills and Estate Planning, Property Law, Conveyancing, Commercial, Leasing and Business Transactions. Brittany takes pride in assisting her clients to meet their objectives and making the process as smooth as possible.
Brittany is currently completing her Master of Laws (Applied Law) majoring in Wills and Estates with College of Law.
Outside of work Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband and fur babies Stuart, Walter & Joe.

Stephen Buchanan brings with him 30 years of legal experience.
Stephen started his legal journey as a police officer for over 15 years with half of that period as a prosecutor. After obtaining his degree he established his own legal practice which he had for 10 years.
His practice had a particular focus on Family Law dealing with complex property and children’s matters. They also had a strong litigation section giving Stephen the responsibility of appearing in the various Court jurisdictions in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. Stephen also has extensive experience dealing with both state and commonwealth government agencies. Stephen utilises the very strong advocacy skills he developed in the police to represent his clients with honesty and integrity. He regards building trusting relationships with the people he represents as one of the most satisfying aspects of his role as their solicitor.
Growing up in a small country town, Stephen also has insight into how sensitive these matters can be and the need to preserve the privacy of his clients. Stephen will be available for Family Law, Litigation and Intervention Order matters.
